Here is a supreme, careless, embarrassing, deluded conclusion of Spintelligence: the idea that the Bible is a book of myths. Here is why. Spintelligence, having abandoned SEE, either totally denies the existence of the supernatural, or, without knowledge, applies imagined, unverified constraints on the supernatural. SEE, acknowledges and embraces the abundance of evidence that the supernatural exists, and seeks to learn about the supernatural by whatever legitimate means are available. The Bible claims to be the word of God addressed to humanity. Is that claim true?  From the first sentence to the last the Bible is about the supernatural, the natural, and the relationship between the two. But is it true?

For a moment, SEE assumes the Bible is true. That being the case, God has a powerful enemy named Satan who, according to the Bible, is a killer and a liar. He tries to usurp everything God does or intends to do. (Remember we are assuming the Bible is true.) God is actively doing all kinds of huge unnatural tricks...like creating the universe, forming woman out of Adam's rib, causing a world wide flood, making Samson appear to be superman...raising Jesus from the dead, causing Him to ascend into heaven, etc. God wants humanity to know about these things and thus has a diary written for humanity's benefit, to tell of His love and sacrifice for the redemption of humanity. Satan does not like that at all. The Bible says that God cannot lie. But Satan can and does relentlessly lie. To counter every truth God says, Satan tells countless lies with the goal of burying the truth. So he plants countless myths in the annals of humanity, all lies making it easy for Spintelligence to put the myth label on the real events of the Bible, especially when one does not want to believe them anyway.

Now, rather than assuming the Bible is true, SEE asks if it could possibly be true. SEE recognizes that assuming the supernatural is not true in no way proves the supernatural is not true. That assumption is not even evidence. So, from that perspective, perhaps the supernatural does exist. SEE also recognizes that the existence of countless myths does not prove the mythical sounding stories in the Bible are myths. Nor are they evidence that the Bible stories are myths. That keeps open the possibility the stories are true, that they are not myths. SEE concludes confirming evidence must be found elsewhere. SEE appeals to science.

SEE first examines science itself. What is it? What does the word science mean? SEE, researching, finds that science is nothing more than a method of study, an approach to gathering and analyzing data. This method, science, is a tool used by human intelligence to search for answers to questions raised by human intelligence, which can be either SEE or Spintelligence. Science, being a tool, is like any other tool used by human beings. Like an axe, science has no intelligence. Like an axe, it has no emotions. Like an axe, it has no thoughts or preferences. Science never says anything. It is unable to speak. Exactly like and axe, science is no more useful than is/are the human/s using it. A perfectly good, solid, sharp axe, in skilled hands may arrive at or miss the mark. The hands determine which it is, not the axe. Similarly, good, solid, pure scientific evidence in the minds of competent scientists will find or miss the truth, depending on the human/s using it. SEE becomes suspicious.

It does not take long for SEE to notice a deep and dangerous weakness in the human race. Humans are profoundly influenced by emotion and personal preference. They will do virtually anything to feel secure. They don't like anything that threatens their sense of security. SEE tries to convince them of the folly of what they are doing. But they love the conclusions of Spintelligence. They have actually turned the tool science into a false god named Science. The words "Science says" are used often, as if science speaks with the authority of deity. They love to hear what Science says. SEE is suspicious again. Do they not understand that Science is mute, it never says anything. It cannot speak. It is the human scientists that speak. And scientists, just like all humans, are prone to Spintelligence. They don't like anything that threatens their sense of security. They are prone to interpret good data to mean what they want it to mean. When most scientists agree on a certain  conclusion, it does not necessarily follow that the conclusion is accurate any more than countless untrue myths prove that the Bible stories are also myths. SEE's suspicion grows.

SEE sees another enigma. SEE and Spintelligence appear to get along famously as long as the subject matter is high tech. They can usually resolve their differences in that realm. But the harmony explodes when the subject turns to the beginnings of life on earth. SEE wonders why. The investigation soon reveals, in the educated world, the intellectual disharmony is primarily between Bible believers and unbelievers. Then SEE remembers the appendices...remembers the contrast between imagination and pure science...remembers pure science is perverted by the imagination of unbelievers. SEE notices that many of the most famous scientists were Christian believers. SEE is inclined to go with the believers, but is not yet satisfied. SEE decides to investigate believers.

Not far into this effort, SEE's eyes glaze over. The task is daunting. The hunger for truth presses SEE on. Emotion or preference would likely cause Spintelligence to abandon the task or cause biased conclusions. However, not possessing those impediments, SEE plods on, compelled toward the truth. Believers outnumber unbelievers by a huge margin. But the chaos amongst believers is profound. One wonders why they cannot get it all together. Undaunted, SEE continues the search for truth.

SEE sifts through many conflicting beliefs found in people who call themselves Christian. Many seem to be Christian in name only. They don't live and talk like others who are serious about the Bible and its central Figure, Jesus Christ. The latter speak of how Jesus has changed their lives. And many speak of miraculous events they have experienced themselves or know of. They speak of the joy and peace they experience in worshipping and following Jesus...in believing in Him. SEE finds no reason to disbelieve them. SEE, simple, pure intelligence recognizes that Spintelligence would be needed to deny that Jesus Christ is God. SEE, simple, pure intelligence is satisfied. SEE recognizes it all boils down to a choice...believe or don't believe. SEE chooses belief...here.
